About us

about us

Physician Resources was founded in March of 2002 to provide the necessary tools to develop and maintain a compliance program for your practice. Our purpose is to provide support and continuing education for physicians and their office staff to deal with difficult compliance issues such as CPT and ICD-9 coding, as well as claim denials. Support and education for documentation requirements and other areas of compliance is provided and we assist with all insurance carriers while maintaining specialty in Illinois Medicare and Medicaid.

Clients receive a tremendous value by being able to focus on taking care of patients while lowering their costs through efficient operations and staying within regulatory guidelines, giving clients the freedom and peace of mind to concentrate on what they do best – provide medical care.

Physician Resources consistently provides focused attention and professional services, as well as solutions that significantly improve our clients' cash flow. Benefit from our expertise with our supportive products and services to fulfill your facility and professional needs.

Accurate coding is an essential part of every successful modern medical practice. Improper coding leads to lost revenue, delayed reimbursement, and poses vulnerability to your practice for a carrier audit. To stay abreast of the continuous federal and state regulations, physician practices must have a specialized certified individual, knowledgeable of all areas of compliance, reimbursement, and revenue cycles.

Physician Resources can provide that assistance. A highly trained, certified experienced professional will assist with the essential information needed to optimize reimbursement, and ensure compliance. The Annual Retainer Service provides general support and other services are available for more specific needs, such as support during a carrier audit and performing internal chart audits.

It is our goal to provide the physician office with the highest caliber of meaningful services and the most up-to-date information and translate it into ethical, financially responsible recommendations.
